As long as wealthy, charismatic, attractive, famous, ambitious and powerful men live in Washington away from their families and surrounded by starstruck people who say “yes” to their every whim–basically forever, then–this is going to happen. I honestly find it weird that people are continually surprised by it. For example, I bet just about every US president has had extramarital affairs. Well, maybe not Carter, but still.
